ES - Archery question

Good morning Elfsea,

Quick question for any of you archery types (not archetypes) 
out there: What's an average arrow length for combat arrows
in the SCA?  Is it somewhere around 26-28"?  

I'm trying to make a quiver as a gift for someone, and I'm not 
sure whether I need to hit the sale at the Leather Factory 
tomorrow or not...
