 Is this "new" tribe associated in any way with the original group that was

 based in Elfsea/DLR?

    Actually no. The "Tribes of the Moon" you are referring to is not in
anyway
associated with the original group based in North Texas. The new tribe was
formed by a convicted felon who fled the Mundane State of Texas to avoid
paying child support. This person was a friend of the original household
but 
to the best of my knowledge was not ever an actual member.
    
    Tribes of the Moon was started by Mark "Fury-Ban" Benton when he moved
to N. Texas from Oklahoma. Fury was already a member of House Wolfstar but
unlike today there was not a strong Wolfstar presence in Texas. In response
to this Fury-Ban started his own household.

    The Tribes were never a part of House Wolfstar but after the demise of
Tribes
of the Moon many of the original members ended up being assimilated by
Wolfstar.

    Tribes of the Moon ran into some local problems over the issue of
ladies dancing
topless at their infamous drumming circles. Despite the fact that no
mundane laws 
were violated they did get a lot of flack from the local F.U.B. scene. What
actually
killed the household was not any political action but a tragedy within the
household.
The tragic death of Cat Shivers killed the household has effectively as a
poisoned well.
There were several attempts to revive the household but after Cat died no
ones heart was
really in it anymore.

    The current Tribes of the Moon is that in name only. It has absolutely
NOTHING to do
with the original group.
