Actually, we do not normally have a list of paid members. Since anyone can
choose to buy a membership or choose not to renew one, we would have to
request a list from the people in Milpita which will take a fair amount of
time. We do have a list that was more or less accurate a few months ago (I,
for instance, am not on it because my renewal went in after the monthly run
and did not show on the list). We have a Domesday which is close, but it
includes all *active* members. It may miss inactive, paid members and
includes
unpaid members.

I suggest anyone who is interested and is notified by the process we have
outlined will be able to determine the candidates by watching this list or
attending any activities including fighter practice. Please keep anyone who
would not be connected by this DL or participation in activities abreast of
any candidates who emerge.

Finally, are there others who share these concerns? If so, please contact
me and I will try to address your issues and make sure their Excellencies
are aware of them. Alternatively, contact their Excellencies or their
Majesties directly. Though Sir Galen has been good enough to share his
knowledge and wisdom with us, he is a candidate for the position and
has no control of the process used. Master Richard is in direct
communication with their Majesties and has a hand in this process, but
he is also busy with many other issues in the Kingdom (including other
Baronial elections).
