ES - Thanks

Allessandra and Galen would like to thank:

TRM Drake & Kayleigh for deciding to appoint us as the next
Baron & Baroness of Elfsea.  We'll do our best to continue the
work begun by our predecessors (and theirs) to make Elfsea an
even better place.  Also (and we're sure we speak for the whole
barony here), thanks for going ahead and making it public at Moot.

Darius & Rosalia, and Ceatta & Robyn, who also stood for the
office, ready to serve Elfsea.  We've been where you are, and
we plan to hold you to your promises of support and counsel.

All the many people who've offered their congratulations, counsel,
and assistance in the times to come.  We both believe that we have
never been offered a greater honor by any organization, and we're
determined not to let you down.  Elfsea is certainly not "broken",
and is not in need of "repair", but as the Baroness said at the last
business meeting, neither is it everything we might all wish it to
be.  We look forward to working with the entire barony, its cantons,
colleges and households, and single every member, toward the 
fulfillment of our group's potential (not to mention developing the
individual potentials of our populace, as well).  We'll make mistakes
at first (and years down the road, we'll probably still be finding
creative new ways to make mistakes), so we hope folks will be
gentle in bringing these to our attention and helping us to correct
them.

And of course we join the chorus of voices congratulating and
honoring Llywelyn & Xene, the best of friends, and the best of
barons; it's not only that you've put so much work and effort and
_heart_ into the office of Baron and Baroness, but that you've
just done it so very, very well.  You have been an example for
other barons to follow, and we mean to take careful note both
of your example, and of your counsel.

In these next few months, we're sure many more people will
earn our thanks.  We hope we never forget that all this help
and attention doesn't come because we deserve it, but because
the successful barons always need and have the help of their
baronies.
