Susana -
Trust me, your handouts would be fine.
Right now I'm just seeing if there is enough interest at this point. I'm
trying to keep this a simple as possible. I'm thinking we could collect the
information at the College, then bind it and make it available at, say, the
following Moot.
At this point, though, I've only had a few responses. Without any more
interest, we may not do it at all.

Tiggy, As I mentioned before, I would be happy to provide my handouts,
either on paper or on disk. These are available now, if somebody would
like to get started on this early. Just let me know who is working on
the booklet and how to get the handouts to them (no, I can't send them
via email - my email doesn't do attachments). As far as a summary after
the fact of what we discussed in my class, no, I will NOT have time to
write that up (I will be busy judging Artisan and completing a scroll).
Would be pleased for someone else to take notes though, and I could proof
them quickly if requested....
This sounds like a great idea. Hope we can get the details worked out.
I would love to have proceedings of the other classes that I won't be
able to make it to. FYI, when Steppes hosted the Known World A & S some
years back, I think the price of the proceedings was $10 - I considered
it well worthwhile. You should be able to collect a lot of the handouts
ahead of time - this would give you a head start on the booklets.
Thanks.

>This is my idea: a booklet made up of summaries/handouts/notes from each
of the classes offered. It would allow everyone to have access to at
least the information from a class they may not have been able to attend,
and would also provide a record of what was taught that day for both the
Barony and the individual teachers. It could be assembled and made
available easily and cheaply to the populace.
>
>** FOR INSTRUCTORS: Would you be interested/willing to write up at
least a summary / outline / major points for each class you intend to
teach, provide an additional copy of any handouts you may have for it,
and perhaps include some information about yourself, so we can assemble
it together for those who may not have been able to attend your class?
For classes that are intended for a more roundtable or discussion
format, at the very least just a brief description of what the class is
about -- maybe questions you intend to address / tend to rise and / or
the approach you intend to take. Of course, this may not work for every
class, but it can at least provide a description and a record. This
includes ALL teachers, including those for the Childrens
>Activities classes. Everything from BARDIC 101 and HERBALISM, to
LEATHERWORKING
>and HUMANISM. (See? I really have been looking at the list.) Even the
fighting classes if we can at least a description of what is to be
covered.
