RE: ES - Elfsea Defender Chivalric TourneyI reallly Like this Idea I think That it will also Be a relief for anyone Autocrating the event. I like it because we can focuse more on the areas for our champions while providing a place were all can have fun and play.

Defender : Archery & Armored Defenders
Springfaire : Rapier Champion & Bard of Elfsea
Baronial College : Elfsea Artisan
Like Darius said, this is a bit of a revolutionary idea, but I think it could be very, very cool.

I certainly advocate making our tournaments more period. Having been to
Lyoness I found the Tournament style very interesting and entertaining.
I would like to point out though that the Chivalric list was not only a
major focus of Lyoness it was also the Primary Focus. The A&S while on a
Theme and very very impressive was a much more secondary thing. At
Defender we also have the Rapier Defender and Archery Defenders. These
are also major focus points for Defender. I know it is difficult to
spread the attention of both the populace and the Nobles to three
separate activities. Unfortunately I think doing this type of tourney
might subtract well deserved attention away from these other two
championships. That is unless we possibly moved one to SpringFaire.
(insert gasp of surprise and horror here) Moving the Rapier Defender
might not be such a bad idea. It would allow most of the daytime
attention to be focused on two championships at Defender, Chivalric and
Archery. At the same time more focus could also be given to the rapier
tourney without competing with the Chivalric Defender.
Now that the Can o' Worms is open who wants to kick it? Anyone????
