ES - Defender

I like this. We did a bear pit a little like that at 
the Highland Games. Light and Heavy just got in line 
and when the next person was of the other persuasion, 
the current owner of the field would step aside and 
two fighters would enter. When it changed again, the 
previous owner would return with the next fighter of 
his/her persuasion.

I did not think this would work well in a larger 
venue, but running a full round, then while the 
list mistress recalculates, running the other group's 
first round, ... would make it work and keep the 
whole audience around.
