ES - seige defense strategy

    1) Crenulation defense. A) The archer platform described in seige
assualt strategy might be re-used in defending the castle against
assaults. B)Clone Tor and his double sided axe and place a clone between
every two crenulations.
    2) Sallying. A) When sallying to take out seige engines and archers,
don't pre-determine the sally port. This year, we all went out the front
gate at the same time that they attacked the front gate. This stopped
the sally and pinned us against the castle wall -- which was glorious
but ineffective. Instead, use the assault ramps to sally out of various
crenulations at the same time. Some harrasment fighters might actually
get out and reach their targets. B) Stamina is needed. Sallying requires
running in full armor. Let's practice running down archers. I could sure
lose the weight. Plus, it will give archers practice at running for
their lives.
