ES - Baroness suggestion - Business Meeting

Greetings, Elfsea,

Less than two weeks left to be your Baroness, but I will always have an
opinion.

Fearghus, new ideas are good, but we have learned from experience that:

 1)Published meetings should not be changed unless there is a severe
emergency.
 2)Insufficient planning does not constitute an emergency.  There has to be
another way - think outside of the box, and consider all feasible
alternatives.

What we have is a need to meet on Thursday night at Daniel and Siobhan's
house.

We also have a need to load the truck before the event, so that it can be
delivered on Friday.
Are we taking everything out of the shed, or just those things needed for
the event for right now?
If we take everything, we have to have a huge truck that is very expensive,
and it will be a lot of work.
If we only take what we need for the event, we can get a smaller truck, and
it will cost less.  If the truck costs less, we could get it a day earlier
(on Wednesday), and load it then.

 Or, could we get it *this* Saturday to load the Steppes stage into?  Then
we would have more possible times to load the truck at Stella's shed.  Yes,
it is more expensive that way, but then we have a moveable storage space for
the stage and more flexibility in the loading times.

A week or two after the event, we can get the rest of the stuff in Stella's
shed into someone's trailer or truck - (Arabella & Fearghus, can we borrow
yours?) and then take it to the new storage shed at Caelin's.  This also has
the advantage of giving more time for Caelin's shed to be finished properly.

Fearghus and Ramon - do you have a list of things that you need to have at
the event? Caelin, what do you need to have done this weekend?

Speaking of which, Caelin and Pyro are still working madly on the shed,
trying to finish it before SpringFaire.  I realize that our plea for
personal help at our house could interfere with this job, and did not intend
for that to happen.  However, we also have a very large Barony, with lots of
people who could contribute this weekend to the building of the shed.
If you can spare a few hours, please help Caelin.


There are in this Barony, like all the rest of the Baronies that I have ever
heard of, "the usual suspects" (Michael Silverhands), "the dirty dozen", or
the "inner circle" (Illuminati - Steve Jackson).  These are the group of
people that always volunteer, that always are there for the hard work, the
loading, the setting up, the breaking down, and the hamburgers afterwards.
We appreciate anyone who can help, in any way, and when you do help, you
join a great group of people.
