The Arthurian Company is a troop of fighters that was started 3 years ago in 
Elfsea, by the former Baron, Llwellyn ap Gruffydd of Elfsea, as well as 
Airaklee Wolf, and Galen of Bristol, and others.

It's purpose is to train for the Gulf War (a great event between Trimaris 
and Ansteorra, hosted by Meridies).  We have several units of troops within 
the company - heavy, light, and some archers.  This is going through a 
slight reorg - talk to the commander for more details (the former baron of 
Elfsea, Llwellyn).

Basically they train to fight together, to kill together, and how to keep 
each other alive during melee battles.  This year may also see the 
introduction of "how to go over a castle wall without breaking any bones".  
We are also hoping to add ballista crews to the army.

If you are interested in munching, gunching and maiming for fun (and 
profit), come to Highland Games.  That is when the first swearing in of 
troops is called.  At that demo, the rules of being part of the company are 
explained.  They are easy to understand, but take discipline to follow:  you 
must have your own armor, attend the regular muster of troops, and be 
willing and able to go to Gulf War.  There is plenty of incentive and help 
to get you started and to keep you going.
