Greetings Caerell, 

Oh I am so sorry you were offended. And I'm very sorry it hit a hot button with you.  Ameline was only trying to motivate some other fathers, who are not in your situation,  to participate in helping with her activities.  

I must say you are doing a great job of parenting your 2 boys....... every time I am around them they are the model of politeness, enthusiasm, and hard work that is the core of our organization.   You are to be commended, you have taught them the meaning of hard work and to take pride in their actions.

Might I make a suggestion.......... next time your hot button goes off......... simply take it to the person who hit your hot button.  Ameline is a very considerate person and had she known about your feelings she could have taken actions as to not offend you.  Many times I say things that offends others (my mouth gets me in trouble more times than I like to admit) but alas I don't know about my faupaux unless somebody tells me.  

I very much hope this innocent phrase does not cause you to harbor ill will and stop coming to Elfsea populace meetings.

  I TAKE OFFENSE TO THESE STATEMENTS!!!!!

  As a Single Parent (FATHER) and pretty much the only prarent my two boys have known, I feel it makes light of what I do every day! 

  YES, IT IS VERY SEXIST!

  It is like saying that just because I am not a Woman I can't do a good job raising my two boys, and that is BULL! 

  Please stop using this saying, It grates on my nerves everytime I hear it.
  This is one of the reasons that I don't like Elfsea Moot as I am sure to hear it from the Minister of Children.

  Yes I agree that many spouses leave the raising of children up to only one of the parents, BUT it is not always the Father that is running off to Fighter practice.
