	Hi,

And, while the bardic was going on, my lady (Taya Fitzphilip, in
case anybody is not up on their gossip) wrote the following piece:

Dishonor and betrayal were the subject that night.
A competition of words only, no need to fight.
Tales of challenge, betrayal and pain.
The best story of dishonor a leather cape will gain.
It is a permanent prize for the top bard.
Until the next bardic it is his duty to guard.
The rules are simple, only one could win.
The one who has the best tale of sin.
Who will be the one to take the cape of leather.
Which one will have it to protect them from the weather?
We heard tales of gypsies and of giants.
Of people who are quiet and of those defiant.
It was not an easy task, the decision of those who judged.
Each one has held the cloak, past decisions were not begrudged.
We thank the winners of the past, other attendees we also thank.
There were people there from near and far and gentles of each rank.
Where will the people go, where will it be next?
To not continue would only be to vex.
There needs to be another opportunity, just another chance.
This can't be the end, we haven't yet begun to dance.
Lord Tarkus has our deepest gratitude, and a portcullis to boot.
His idea has grown and after four years has taken root.
He's opened up his house and home, welcomed those who come.
He knows where we'll go and exactly where we're from.
Please accept our thanks for encouraging our words.
Our hearts will you always welcome, we know we won't be bored.
