ES - Fall court potluck dishes

These are the dishes that people have told me they are bringing. The
Barony is providing roasted (barbecued) meat (beef, pork, chicken).
Other dishes so far include onion pie, breads and butters, dried fruit
and sugared nuts, cream peas with pork, pinto beans, saffron rice with
meatballs, flatbread, marinated cucumber/tomato salad, quiche, root
vegetables (carrots, turnips, cabbage) with honey, cookies, lentil/barley
soup. Also iced tea, water, and strawberry lemonade Koolaid. We could
probably use more vegetables, some fruits and desserts. Perhaps a
beverage? Porridge?? Maybe some kind of salad. Any takers???
Remember, you don't want the herbalist serving up weeds (for anyone who
remembers the wild carrots in the stone soup that were still sticks after
lengthy boiling)!

We do not have any way of heating dishes - please provide this if you
need it... There is a concrete area we will probably use as a kitchen
area, that might have room for one or 2 grills for heating food - likely
not enough to cook something on. I don't think there is any electricity
(unless we use the hall, then maybe...) Please plan appropriately.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

Suzanna, the herbalist (not the cook!)
