I'm not the listadmin of this group anymore, but I did 
found this list, and I wrote the rules for it.

Two wrongs still don't make a right.  Laura's note is 
not relevant to the Elfsea list, though as a Christian 
myself, I have immense sympathy for her message.  
There's actually a rule for this list that excludes 
this sort of message forwarding to the list.

Kateryne's note lacks the courtesy I expect of posters 
to this list, and which the rules also require 
(especially in dealing with valued new members who may 
not have picked up on all the little subtle 
distinctions of how we play).  Sorry, Kateryne, nowhere 
does _Corpora_ or Kingdom Law, and certainly not the 
tradition of Elfsea, ban Christians from discussing 
their faith.  If you feel that innocuous little note 
was harrassment, I suggest that, while I know nothing 
to make me believe that you're an evil person (as you 
suggested), you do seem a tad oversensitive.  The SCA 
is not, and does not try to be, a safe-haven from 
religious -- or even specifically Christian or Jewish --
 influence or expression.  I hope the others of those 
many reasons will influence you to stay in the SCA, 
despite this one small failing of our group.

I look forward to you visiting Elfsea to meet some of 
the folks you've been exchanging e-mail with.
