Greetings Elfsea,
      My wife received a songbook for working security as Defender.  Yes, 
after working Troll she was still volunteering for anything that needed to 
be done.  She didn't even do it for the Cart Races. :)
      I was looking through it last night and coincidentally enough the song 
"Farewell to Ansteorra" is written to the music of "Farewell to Nova 
Scotia."  For those of you who don't know I am originally from Nova Scotia.  
The Beautiful Barony of Ruantallon, Canton of Seashire.  Who would have 
thought I would have left SeaShire to come inland to the Lands of ElfSea.
      Regardless,  Today is my interview with the mundane Authorities to 
determine if I will stay in this beautiful land or be returned to another 
beautiful land far away from my new found friends.
      Good Gentles,  You are all like family to me.  I sang the Original 
"Farewell to Nova Scotia" when I left that land.  I hope to never sing 
"Farewell to Ansteorra" except perhaps when we all leave to fight together 
in Gulf Wars.
      Nerves have me talking in circles but just let it be said, I am 
Canadian in mundane life.  I have come to realize that As I learn about 
Chivalry and Honour and try to bring it into mundane Life  I am truly trying 
to be more Ansteorran.  When I return to the land of my birth, whether on my 
terms or someone else's,  I would be proud to say that "I am Ansteorran".

      Vivat Elfsea, and VIVAT ANSTEORRA!

May the Banner of the Black Star forever wave over these "sun-blessed lands"
