Greetings to the list,

She did indeed open her eye for me and then for her Mother once she came 
into the room, this was around 12:15 ish this afternoon.  While her 
Grandmother ran to get Beth/Elinore, she tried to sit up and I had to hold 
her down, she is strong and wants the respirator out!  I can't easily 
express with the written word what it felt like to see her wake up, but her 
eye was clear and focused, and it was one of the most beautiful things I 
have ever seen.

I asked her to try and say an easy word, and she couldn't but I got her to 
blow once and twice as responses, and she let me know by my questions that 
she is very much aware of everyone who has come to see her.

The family is very grateful for all the love and prayers, Rhianna is still 
in Intensive Care, and because it is a serious head injury, will remain 
there until the Doctor's are confident she will keep breathing on her own, 
and is strong enough to come off the respirator (which she dearly wants).

When I left they had just given her medication for the pain, and was resting 
in natural sleep.
