Good gentles,

Although many of you heard me say my thank you's Monday night at
Moot, I would like to post this also to the list as many of you were not
there at moot. I really appreciate all the hard work that went into Their
Excelleny's Archery Defender Tournament. Many thanks to those who helped
set up the range Friday night, especially Lord Kerrick and Lord Artair for
helping me lay out the design of the range. Many thanks again to those that
helped get the pavilllions and flag poles up Saturday morning just before
court. Thanks to Lord Ironwyrm and the Barony of The Steppes for the use of
their archery butts and supplying us with the paper targets. I'm especially
pleased with the cooperation between our two baronies
especially in the field of archery. And last but not least I'd like to name
a few people from Loch Ruadh that made my job as marshal in charge a breeze:
Baroness Dana Mac an Ghabhann and Lady Bice' for score keeping, Lady
MagD'Leigha Mac an Ghabhann for assisting in marshaling, Lord Terrik of
House Brokenaxe for helping setup Friday night and Saturday morning as well
as marshaling/timing the speed round and Lord Dunstan AE Petrokes Stowe, LSD
for short, for hauling the pavillions out to site, helping setup Friday
night and Saturday morning, marshaling during the tournament and helping me
tear down the flag poles and pavillions after the tournament and hauling
them home. Dunstan, all I can say is you definitely deserved your AoA, even
if you weren't paying attention in court when they called you :) At least
you were in court when they called you, the last time I was called forward,
at Lughnasadh, I was ...um...let's say indisposed :)
Again many thanks to all and thank you, Your Excellencies, for
letting Loch Ruadh show their stuff :)

In Service,
Laird Sean of Argyll
Loch Ruadh Archery Marshal
