When I was 8, it was 1961. 
Goals were not exactly a priority, but I vaguely remember wanting to ride my
bicycle better. 
When I was 18, it was 1971. 
Vietman, and the draft were big issues, and my goal was to live to see 19. 
When I was 28, it was 1981. 
I was in college and my goal was to graduate. 
When I was 38, it was 1991. 
That was the year I was diagnosed with cancer, and my goal was to simply
live. 
I am now 48 and it is 2001. A year I never thought to see. 
My goals are to help people, and to make my part of this world a little
easier, a little healthier and induce smiles where ever I go. 
And to commit random acts of kindness.
