Yes it does.  When my father was hospitalized several
months before he died of cancer, he wasn't able to eat
properly.  The doctor told him he could have all the beer
he wanted.  It is high in nutrients.  The doctor couldn't
right a prescription for it so thehospital was unable to
give to him.  However, friends would each bring him a six
pack and the family would take it pack at a time to the
nurses station for them to refrigerate.  They could do
that.
