ES - Children at events

Actually Caelin,
I believe Sir Kief had ruled that if you were going on to a combat field you
had to have a none combatant authorization even if a hold has been called.

I believe the non-combatant box is only required when you will be on

the field when it is active. In melees at Pensic, for instance, they

have all these on active fields. In most cases in Ansteorra, we do
not send waterbearers on the field unless it is a hold *and* we
have permission from the marshals on the field.

The non-combatant box means you have taken a short course in the
rules and etiquette of the lists and melee fields. You know enough
to be fairly safe and you know that being on an active field is
never completely safe (arrows, for instance, do not know that you
	are a non-combatant).

We request Chirurgeons to get the non-combatant training. In fact,
we recommend (but do not require) Chirurgeons to become field
marshals in one or more combat activities. They will understand
more about the fighters and fighting, be even more useful, and
the fighters and marshals may trust them more.

	Caelin
