ES - Page/Mentor Program

Lady Maria,

reading over your proposals for a new page program, I
must say that this sounds like a good idea.

First, I know that if anyone comes to ask me what I am
doing (which is rare. Most people know how to
embroider already. *G*), I will either drop what I am
doing and explain it or ask them to wait a moment so
that I can finish my last stitch (you know how it is
when you're a beginner...gotta concentrate!). I've
also noticed that most people are willing to talk
about what they are doing and let you watch and learn.

One thing I did notice about your email is the idea of
keeping a database of children and those who wish to
mentor. I got to thinking and I was wondering if you
knew just how much time that would take. Making a
database and performing upkeep on that database can be
very time-consuming and frustrating (trust me, I do
this EVERY DAY. darn criminals... *G*). Why not just
let people find their own page/mentor? That would be
MUCH easier on the MOP/MOC and less time-consuming.

I really have no problem with the ideas that you have.
Perhaps you and Lord Darius could combine your efforts
and work together on this project.
