This does sound like fun. Perhaps Feb 16th?

How shall we dress? It might be rude of us to show up in better 12th century
garb than the actors.

The theater in Granbury is doing the stage version of
The Lion In Winter, James Golden's play about King
Henry II of England, and his wife, Eleanor of
Acquitaine, their sons, Richard (Lionheart), Geoffrey
and John (Lackland), and King Philip II of France. (The
film version starred Peter O'Toole as Henry (Best Actor
nominee), Katherine Hepburn as Eleanor (Best Actress
winner), Anthony Hopkins as Richard, Nigel Terry
(Arthur in "Excalibur") as John, and Timothy (James
Bond) Dalton as Philip.) Apparently it's playing
Fridays through March. This is the show that inspired
me to adopt a 12th century persona. Anybody up for a
road trip?
