Buenos Dias!

I would like to say thank you to all who braved the cold weather and the
even colder wind! Needless to say, Passage of Arms was a great success!

I would like to thank (not in any particular order)...

Mistress Xene -- she brought her rug, electric tea pot (to heat water),
styrofoam bowls, cups and plastic dinnerware, an assortment of hot drinks,
her propane space heater and her warm and caring smile.

Lord Crandall -- he brought the other propane space heater

Willem and Rebecca -- they brought their pavilion for the archers to sit
under. It also became a much needed wind break. Thank you for teaching me
how to shoot. Again, Rebecca, thanks for the glove! I can't wait to shoot
again!

Lord Caelin -- he provided styrofoam bowls, cups, plates, pepper for the
stew. His helpful advice was a godsend to me during the week!

Lord Feargus -- he allowed me the use of his van to carry things from the
shed to the site without him I would not have been able to do it. He also
taught my son how to shoot a bow and arrow and gave Ryan (my son)the
confidence to shoot in the tournament. Ryan now wants to become an archer as
well as a heavy fighter.

Lord Feargus and Willem -- they graciously hunted down and bought firewood
for us. I'm afraid that was one of the things I forgot at the house when I
left early this morning.

Lady Pryo -- she borught a table for us to use under Willem and Rebecca's
tent. The archers quickly used it to set their things upon rather than the
wet ground.

Lord Raimond, Lord Sebastion, and Lord Kerrick -- thank you for inspecting
armor and running the fields. Without them we would not have been able to
fight and shoot arrows. I loved the targets Kerrick made for the event! We
had to shoot through a castle window at another "archer" in a castle. How
fun!

Lord Tomas -- he heralded each event.

To everyone who helped set and take down the pavilions...Thank you!

To Their Excellencies -- they helped rally the populace and helped make it
the success it was. Thanks for your support and understanding through this
all.

Lady Medb -- she brought all the leftovers from Baronial College out and
helped me feed everyone.

Though I know that there was hardly any of it left, I must apologize to
those who had my stew...I promise it's usually much better than that! I
don't know what happened to it (other than that it got a burnt on the
stove...sorry I got busy and lost track of time). Other than that the hot
drinks were a big success and helped us all stay warm.

If I forgot anyone else, please let me know. I want to make sure that you
are properly recognized.

Well, I'm tired and it's getting very late, so I must get off to bed. Again
I must say a very BIG THANK YOU to all of you that either helped or just
came to fight!!

Lady Maria
