Heraldry Workshop
"How to be an Effective Commenter"

Class Schedule:	1-2 PM 	Panel Discussion on Effective Commentary
			2-3 PM		Name Documentation
			3-4 PM 	Blazon
			4-5 PM 	Conflict-Checking
			5-6 PM		Practice Commentary Session

This workshop is intended for moderately experienced heralds who would like
to increase their skills and become more effective commenters. A basic
knowledge of period name construction and armory design would be helpful,
but beginners are also welcome. Bryn Gwlad's fighter practice, which
usually includes costume making and other non-fighting activities, takes
place at the same site on Sunday afternoons for the entertainment of any
non-heralds who might like to ride along. A group of us may also go out to
dinner after the workshop is finished.

If you have an SCA Ordinary, please bring it with you to the workshop.

Directions to Site:  Take your best route to Highway 183 and MLK (FM 969)
in Austin. Go east on MLK 1/2 mile. The entrance to the Water Treatment
Plant is on the right shortly after the blinking yellow light. Turn right
into the driveway and go around the pond (either direction) to the large
stone building directly behind the pond. Park along the driveway in front
of the building Enter the building through the glass doors behind the
flagpole. Turn left down the hall to the first door on the left (lunchroom).
