Hengist and I just got back from Glen Rose.

It was VERY hot.
The river is way down, so the main tracks are extremely visible.
The river algae is up, so the rocks are very, very slippery. have a care
there.
It was VERY hot.

If your going to just hike or bike, then i would go early in the morning b4
it became to hot. If your going just to look at the tracks, i'd pass for a
cooler day and combine it w/ another activity. We only saw a few tracks in
the main area, not venturing either way because at some points, the water
was murky, over waist deep, and we couldn't see the bottom..but did manage
to see a gar (sp?) swimming by. We spent about an hour walking around, it
cost us $5 a person to get into the main park area, and it was VERY hot...we
could only take about an hour of that.

We also spent about an hour or two at Fossil Rim. Always a neat thing to do,
although it seemed alot of the animals weren't out, and you only get one bag
of feed (they were out of cups). That was about $15 a person, not counting
feed...and a real challenge in the ostrich paddock in a convertible ;)
