Into the combat archers of the central region,

Below is a request from the commander of the central regional brigade to
attend the war practice at Randol Mill park this Sunday 7/15. To that
request I do lend my voice, if there is any way you can attend this
practice please do so.

The walkthroughs with the brigade units will help you understand the
basic tactics, goals, and who's who more than anything else we can do.
Many of you that are new to the SCA come out and ask questions about
armor, weapons, helms, what works and what doesn't and really get a hand
up on the game before your first battle. The rest of us need to get
together and began to hone those combat skills. Also start preparing
for the massive missile re-fit after Aug 1 (time to start pooling
information and resources).

Into the Archers of the Steppes;

In order to get as many of our combat archers to this war practice as
possible I shall be starting this weeks archery practice on Eastfield's
range at 10 AM Sunday morning so we can get a scoring shoot in and
afterwards caravan (carpool if necessary) to the war practice. (Note -
please park across the street from the range and not in the church
parking lot so we won't interfere with their services.)

I hope to see you there!

In service,

Ironwyrm
