ES - Garb for newcomers and other ideas

The barony I began in did something similar which was a fabric swap at one
of their weekly gatherings (the closest equivalent for us would be fighter
practice). You didn't have to bring anything, but could take as much as you
wanted/needed and the next week was a garbing workshop where everyone
brought their sewing machines and shared equipment and knowledge so people
could make things with all their "new" fabric.

In Service,
Anézka

How about a "garb swap" nite, you bring garb you no longer wear (doesnt fit,
different persona, etc) make a big pile , everyone who attends brings at
least something. If you find something in the pile you want, you take it,
anything left( and there will be), it goes to the hospitaler's chest.
Just my 2 cents
