Greetings Elfsea,

Likewise, I did not hear the official outcome either, however, I know that
Ansteorra won the Resurrection (ravine/woods) battle and the King's Champion
battle war points. Trimaris took the open field battle and the fort battle.
So added to your report, yields this breakdown:

Ansteorran war points:
1: Heavy Weapons Champion Tourney
1: Resurrection Battle
1: Rapier Battle
2: Volunteer
(Total of 5 so far)

Trimaris war points:
1: Open Field Battle
1: Fort Battle
(Total of 2 that I'm sure about)

Remaining War Points in question:
1: Archery
2: Arts & Sciences
1: Equestrian
1: Live Weapons
(Total of 5 points up in the air)

I know that one of the Ansteorran A&S entries took one of the Queen's
Favorites honor, but I'm not sure if we won the overall competition.

Among the many memorable moments of the war for me was:
- Seeing my lovely lady in armor for the first time and seeing the smile on
her face after her first battle.
- My squire sister Lady Honor making it to the middle banner near the end of
the resurrection battle, where she protected a "dead" Trimarian who was
sardined and repeatedly struck, unable to protect himself or get out of
harm's way.
- Facing off against my former squire sister, Lady Vanora, during the
resurrection battle, although neither of us were able to fell the other.
- Seeing His Excellency, Baron Llywelyn receive a Sable Falcon from His
Majesty on the field after the fort battle.
- Seeing HL Ceinwen, glowing and so juiced after making her first
battlefield kills in the Rapier War Point battles.
- Seeing Sir Axel again and engaging in several pickup fights with him
between the fort battles. (His daughter, Dianne, won the grand prize on the
TV show Noggin and got a trip to California to meet Bill Nye the Science
guy, which will air soon. Sir Axel assured us that he'd let us know when
that will be. He also was quite adamant about Bill Nye being a
what-you-see-is-what-you-get kind of guy.)
- Sharing in the wonderful hospitality of the Steppes encampment
- Witnessing His Majesty announce that His Excellency Baron Ulsted the
Unsteady is to join the Order of the Chivalry.
- Hearing of Lady Honor and HL Raimond's exploits. :-) Say no more, nudge,
nudge, grin, grin.
- Meeting several of the Lady's of the Boar's Breast Tavern and attending
the awesome party at the fort hosted by Clan Cadhla (for whom my squire
brother Lord Daniel Stewart built and provided the two-story "beer-bong")
- Household sister, Lady Arabella, did such a fine job with land
coordination for our region that she was selected to handle land allocation
for the kingdom at next year's war. (Or was it land allocation for all
participants of next year's war, I wasn't quite clear on that?)

These were only a few of the highlights, the weather was great (once WE got
there) from Thursday through Saturday night, and we had lots of fun,
journeyed without incident and hope that everyone else who went did as well.

(a tired) Lord Armand Dragonetti
Squire to Sir Galen of Bristol
