Greetings,

On behalf of the Archers of Ansteorra I wish to thank the good gentles of
our Canton of Glaslyn for the wonderful time we had at the Defender of
the Flame.

Past the trees beyond the list field a static archery tournament was held
by Lothair Wildehaar (archer in charge) and Ld. Owen Hell (archery
marshal in charge). Which drew many notable persons from within our
archery community. About sixteen archers competed in the contest with
the top three being: Lothair (winner), Ld. Owen, & Don Sebastion
Forbishire.

The combat archery was cancelled due the small number of participants for
the tournament. The field was left open permitting training and practice
for many including the Barons & Baronesses of both Steppes and Elfsea.
We did all have a grand time!

A special thanks to Ld. Guyjin who did single handedly defend our
equipment from the descending horde of curious cub scouts who invaded our
closed range while the archers attended court.

Vivat Defender of the Flame! Vivat Glaslyn!

Ld. Wm. Ironwyrm

Royal Huntsman of Ansteorra
