Martin was elected after the death of Gregory, two years after he
stopped functioning as Pope.  Gregory was the real one, and there
couldn't be another Pope while he was alive.

That council sat for quite awhile.

So I wouldn't think a Martin faction was appropriate.  But nothing will
surprise me.
