In response to HL Rosalia's email concerning Trinity
Park:

My dear and honored lady,

I, too, grew up in Fort Worth and was in Girl Scouts.
We had our outings at Trinity Park without incident
for several years (from age 5 to age 16). Trinity is
not the "hell hole" most people think it is. Sure, it
has it's places. Randol Mill does, too. Heck, any park
around here is going to have it's places that you
"just don't go." The police presence at Trinity Park
is a good one, especially since the City Government
has done so much revitalization in that area. Also,
many people are confusing Forest Park, which is across
from the Zoo, with Trinity Park. That is NOT Trinity
Park. Trinity is north of the Zoo and is the largest
park in the area, right across from the Botanical
Gardens and Will Rogers Complex.

I do not mean to belittle your concerns, dear friend.
I respect your opinion. However, I do feel that you
are blowing it a tad out of proportion. How long has
it been since you have visited Trinity Park? It is a
lovely park filled with bike trails, an amazing
playground, a wonderful train ride, trees, and
squirrels ripe for the grilling. *wink*

I hope that people make their decision based on facts
and not on past "feelings". The park would be the
perfect location for fighter practice. I know it in my
bones.

Again, dear lady, my comments are made with the utmost
respect and fondness.

I remain...

Your Dear Friend,
Lady Eleanor Cleavely
