[Elfsea] My Conclusions from the Data

Agreed, but not nearly as many and of the variety found in that 820 - 183
corridor.

This _opinion_ is sheerly one made from convenience on our part. We are
going to drive an hour no matter where we move practice to. We are cool
with that. I, the busy mom who works full time and then some, would like to
do more than one thing on that trip and the stores I frequent the most to
buy SCA consumables (fabric, tape, thread, more tape in different colors,
batteries, candles, cases of duck tape) - Walmart, Kmart, etc are on our
way.

This brings up a point I hadn't thought of...perhaps we should pay attention
to what sort of multi-tasking opportunities are around the parks. This is,
of course, a much lower priority. I am thinking, though, that we are
somewhat average for the SCA, with the exception of living in the country.
We both work, we have kids, we use "stuff." We need to make the most of a
Sunday afternoon and that means that very often we drop off dad to play for
a bit and hit the stores. Having other things close by might just get some
people out when they would have otherwise spent the afternoon taking care of
things that need to be taken care of.

Just a thought.
