You can also get pieces of plastic that are 1/8" thick X 1" wide and 8ft
long if you need something
longer than usual. These are used in conjunction with vinyl covered sheet
rock, I believe. I used one to make a hoop shirt once and of course I just
taped the ends together with, you know, duct tape, and this was pre SCA
days ! They are wider than the ties but not quite as flexible because they
are thicker.
