[Elfsea] Fighter Practice - our next controversy

Hellooooooo Elfsea!

I have heard compelling arguments for moving our under-attended Sunday
Fighter Practice to a new location.  These arguments have to do with
increasing the comfort and convenience of attendees, and the hope of
increased recruiting at fighter practice.  Ideas were also discussed at
business meeting regarding how to increase attendance of both fighters
and non-fighters at fighter practice.

Fighter practice chiefly concerns fighters, many of whom attend few if
any other meetings.  But fighter practice also concerns the entire
barony.  Like most SCA groups, Sunday Fighter Practice is Elfsea's
central recurring activity.

Therefore, at Moot this month, on Oct 22, next Monday, we'll take some
time to discuss fighter practice; how to increase attendance, and
whether to move it.  Suggestions for alternative sites will be welcome.
We will also discuss the possibility of cancelling outright the
neglected Thursday night practice.

I hope that all who are interested will attend.  Please spread the word;
not everyone is on the list!
