Maria,

These things were very hard for me to learn. My wonderful group of advisors
DRILLED this into me. 1. - One job at a time and do your 1 job to the best
of your ability. 2. - Learn to say to yourself, "That's not my
responsibility."

Learn how to sit on your hands and not say anything about not volunteering.
There are always some other people whom can take up the slack. The entire
barony does not rest on your shoulders alone. Remember we all work as a
team. Someone else can carry that load. Learn to be choosy about what you
volunteer to do. Pick the things you really enjoy volunteering for.
Remember your own time restraints. Remember your family obligations..... We
are a big family but your immediate family comes first. Pay attention to
your priorities. Currently mine are my family, my house, and my health, in
that order.

No one will ever slight you when mundanity steps in for a short while. It's
much easier to have fun when you have your personal mundane life in order.

Arabella, who had many advisors tell me the same things.
