Greetings all!

I know there are lots of folks that are do web sites and are out of work
right now so I want to post this for anyone who is interested.  I know they
are looking for a person that is really good in this field.  This was just
posted on Tuesday of last week.

Position:             Assistant Director of Website Management

Department:      Marketing & Communications
Salary:               Commensurate with experience and education

Requirements: Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent required.
Experience in HTML/Web design, experience with database/Web integration,
strong working knowledge of Web Technologies such as ASP, JavaScript, VB
Script, knowledge of Internet Server issues, knowledge of internet security
issues, experience with Microsoft IIS, experience with Web-enabled databases
(Oracle, Microsoft SQL server).  Experience with industry-standard Web
design applications such as PhotoShop, Flash.  Must be a good project
manager.

Scope of Responsibilities:  To monitor and maintain the daily production of
the university's web site.  Implement HTML modifications on current pages
and assists with the flow of information for the website production group.
May be expected to build new pages in HTML.  Produces graphic sketches,
designs, and copy layouts for on line content and develops, designs and
evaluates user interfaces, front pages, and tools to navigate the
university's web site.  Develops, modifies and implements web sites to other
web sites.  Works with the Director of Website Management to design online
user experiences and scopes, plans, and prioritizes multiple projects.
Designs and implements appropriate databases for use with the different
university web sites.  Defines user interfaces and functional
specifications.  Works with IT staff to develop and implement university's
intranet applications.  Troubleshoots issues with existing or developed
systems, and works with the IT staff to resolve them.  Visits multiple
websites on a regular basis to gather information and monitor the latest
trends and technological advances in the fields in order to maintain the
university's edge over competitors.  Troubleshoots, tests and oversees the
launch of new portions of the university's Web site.  Plans and reviews site
architecture for new web sites.
