Greetings and Welcome,

This wednesday brings us to the last session of the White Academy of Dance
for the year. Its been a wonderful and happy beginning, and I thank each of
you who have come for your time and energetic participation. In January, I
will again begin sending missives for our new times and locations.

Our focus this week will be finalizing performance selections from recent
sessions. We have a multitude of oportunities, including Dragonsfire Tor
Yule Revel, Steppes Twelfth Night, Coronation, Queen's Champion, and the
Gulf War's Arts and Sciences Competition at Candlemas. If you are new and
excited about these possibilities, please come join the fun and excercise.

The Academy will meet at the College of Threebridges (UTA), this
wednesday, Decemebr 11th from 7:30-9:30pm. Look for room 024 & 025 in the
basement of University Hall (UH) on the NE corner of Nedderman Dr and Cooper
St. (www.uta.edu/maps for detailed maps)

Please feel free to contact me directly for further information:

The White Academy of Dance is dedicated to furthering the practice of, and
research into, the dancing arts of the Renaissance. The Academy is open to
anyone who practices, teaches, or who is otherwise interested in the art,
music, history, reconstruction, or performance or theory of period dancing
styles.

The Academy, in essence, is to provide a dance-focused forum wherein we can
exchange ideas and sources. Anyone with an interest in period dance,
regardless of talent or skill, is welcome to join and participate!
