As it says, starting in with bone jewelry, period
and style correct for 1400-1500's. Much of this
was incised (scratched) with a stylus, apparently
after sealing/waxing the bone, and (a) dye(s)
applied to the substrate to make the design stand
out.

Anyone familiar with this technique? Beef femur
seems to be OK, but colors run a little in the
untreated substrate.
