Yes, you are correct, but I believe that even if the
populace vote is not ultimate decision, it is still
important for us, the populace, to know what is in our
future.

We should know what is in the works for our baronial
guard so that when a new one is chosen those of us who
wish to be a part of it can know what to expect.

We should know what is expected of the guilds in order
for those that may wish to join one or more can know
what they will be getting into.

Above all, we should know because we are the people
that make up this barony.  We are the ones that make
this the brightest star of Ansteorra. We are the
reason why "life is good in Elfsea".
