Hola!! I have had to change my last name. It seems that "de Vasquez" cannot be documented prior to the early 1700's (yup that surprised me, too!) So... My last name will now be "Maria Cabeça de Vaca" The "ç" is pronounced as a soft "th" sound. Maria
