SPECIAL EVENTS
Sept. 15th   Knit-Out 2003				Saturday 10:00 a.m. –6:00 p.m.
Join the fun as knitters, crocheters, and spinners come together to 
celebrate
the 5th Annual Dallas
TX –area Knit Out and Crochet Too.  There will be craft demonstrations and
teachers will be
available to help you learn how. Lots of fun to be had by all.  See you 
there.

Sept. 30th
Volunteer Mentoring Fair			Tuesday  5:00-7:00 p.m.
The Volunteer Center of North Texas, will host a Mentoring Fair in the 
Community
Rooms at Half Price
Books located at 5803 E. Northwest Highway and at the Arlington Half Price 
Books
store located in
the Lincoln Square Shopping Center, 770 Road to Six Flags East, Arlington, 
TX.
These simultaneous
fairs  will bring together the local non-profit agencies who are looking for
your help.

Learn to juggle.  The Dallas Jugglers Association will perform in front of 
the
community room for
customers to enjoy.  Lessons are free.  Membership is free.  Beginners and
experienced jugglers are
welcomed.

Julie Sullivan hosts a demonstration of the craft of bookbinding and book
repair.

	Cash Flow 					1st and 3rd Saturdays at 1:00 p.m.
Practice Getting Out Of The Rat Race with the board game Cash Flow . The 
game
was developed by
Robert Kiosaki of Rich Dad/Poor Dad fame. Interested gamers can meet in Half
Price Books’ community
room every 1st & 3rd Saturday.

Sept. 14th
Classic Guitar Society		Sunday	4:00 p.m.
Dallas Classic Guitar Society promotes the appreciation and understanding of 
the
classical guitar
and its music, from historical derivatives and related instruments to
contemporary counterparts.
The public is welcome to enjoy the group in Half Price Books’ community room 
the
second Sunday of
every month.
