[Elfsea] Elfsea Baronial College is in 10 days!

Elfsea Baronial College will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2003 at the
First United Methodist Church of DeSoto.  The College is a day of classes on
life in the SCA's time period. Lady Rixande de Rouen is coordinating the
classes.  A sideboard lunch is included in the site fee.

The Baronial Artisan Competition will also be held. Our current champion, HL
Julianna Virtue is organizing the competition.

This year, the Barony of Elfsea is proud to bring you "Remnant Wars". Teams
of four (No more than one Laurel and one Iris on each team) will compete to
create a complete ensemble in 4 hours! Sponsored by Lady Rixende de Rouen,
Dama Anezka z Rozmitala and Lady Genevieve de Lironcourt.

The site address is 310 Roaring Springs Drive, DeSoto TX 75115.  From I-35E
in DeSoto, take exit 414 at Beltline Road and go west about 1.5 miles.  Turn
left and go south on Roaring Springs for three blocks.

The site will open at 8:00am and close at 7:00pm.  Classes will be taught
from 9:00am to 5:00pm.  Closing court will be at 5:30pm.

The site fee will be $10 per adult and $5 per child aged 5-17. Without proof
of membership, the new $3 non-member surcharge will apply.  Make check
payable to: SCA Inc./Barony of Elfsea.  Minors must be accompanied by a
parent or legal guardian.  They may also attend with a 21 year or older
adult with a signed and notarized Minor Event Waiver Form from the parents.
The site does not allow alcohol, pets, or smoking.
