HL Arabella-
I am very relieved and happy to hear that you are clear. My mother has been battling this cancer for three years now. It has become one of my personal goals to get current information out to the younger women AND MEN who never think of this as a young person's disease.

Ladies, if anyone on your mother's side of the family has ever been diagnosed with breast cancer, the oncologists (cancer specialists) are now telling us to have a baseline mammogram as soon as possible or by age 25. That's 15 years earlier than they were previously recommending. My cousin discovered breast cancer at age 30. My grandmother at age 82. My Grandmother's sisters at 50 and 77. My mother at 64. There is no "age limit". My doctor told me that I have a very good chance of developing breast cancer because of the strong family history. He recommended that my brother also have a mammogram/ CT scan. Kevin did, was clear, and will be monitoring himself with the help of his doctor on a regular basis.

My aim is not to scare anyone, just be aware. Go to the American Cancer Society website and look it over.

I echo Arabella in encouraging everyone to take care of themselves. You only get one chance to play this game!
