Greetings to all of you,
Boy I really cherish good news these days. Last Thursday I was at
Zale-Lipshy hospital in Dallas having an extraction biopsy on my left
breast. Terrified I was about the results of the pathology report I'd have
to wait a week. I found out yesterday that what they removed was benign.
The pathology report called the tissue a fat necrosis, fibrosis and
microscopic pseudocyst. I thank God. It's out and I don't have to watch it
or keep track of a little hard thing that might grow.

To all of my female friends. Have your mammograms done regularly. Do self
exams monthly. I thought I knew how to do them ... I was wrong. This lump
was found by my doctor. Yes it was very small, about 4mm. But I should
have found it. Get instructions from your doctor.

The American Cancer Institute now recommends women have Mammograms beginning
at age 40. I began having mammograms at 30 when I was told I have fibrous
tissue at 26.

I am very glad I've been keeping on top of my health. I had what was inside
my breast removed and will continue to follow up yearly. This plan is
always better than the alternative.
