It has come to my attention that  Guardian of the Tor XII was not printed in the April Blackstar. For those of you who have not seen it as a reminder here it is.

 Please pass this on to any other sites that may not have seen it

 This will be the last weekend of April at the Broken O Ranch in Glen Rose, TX.

 Feast reservations and payment must be in by April 18.

Court will be held during Feast.

 We look forward to seeing you there.

GUARDIAN XII
April 25 - 27, 2003 at Broken O on the Brazos.

4 miles N. of Glen Rose on CR 317 off Hwy 67, TX



Greetings unto the populous of Ansteorra! The members of the Canton of Dragonsfire Tor invite one and all to dare to compete for the title of Guardian of the Tor! Our Guardian competitions are HEAVY! RAPIER! ARCHERY! And BARDIC! Note that the Bardic competition will be held after dark. In addition to the Guardian lists there will be a Live Steel competition and a brewing competition. The brewing competition will have 2 categories adult competition (alcoholic) and youth competition (non-alcoholic).

 Directions:

Going South from DFW on hwy 67. Go over Brazos river iron bridge: Approximately ¼ to ½ mile to county rd 317 turn left. Follow the SCA signs.

Adults:    $8.00             Children 6-12:   $4.00            Children 5 and under: free

Family cap: $24.00

*Proof of membership will be required to avoid the $3.00 non-member surcharge.

Make checks for site payable to SCA Inc./Canton of DFT.



Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. They may also attend with a 21-year or older adult with a signed and notarized Minor Event Waiver Form from the parents



Feast fees are in addition to site fees.

This site is primitive. There will be electricity for medical use only, and limited water. No pets allowed except  service animals.
