Finnian and I are VERY proud to announce that our
oldest son Luke, who completes his basic training for
the Air Force, has made the final cut for a very
specialized group. He was the only one out of a class
of 70 to make it in to the SERE Instructor program. 

The SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape)
program only has 325 enlisted personnel. They train
aircrew members and high risk capture personnel how to
survive in all climatic conditions as well as how to
survive while captive.

To quote Finnian, "Mah boy's gonna be a snake eater!"
To say he is a proud Marine poppa is an
understatement. I am bustin out all over with pride
and I can hardly wait to see him in his "Blues".
