Greetings Elfsea!

Scroll Submissions were due today. So far I have received very few
officer reports – maybe your messenger bird is having a hard time
finding me out in Trimaris?

HL Valerius has graciously offered to pen any officers' reports that
are not received by tomorrow. I fear to read what HL Valerius would
produce if given this opportunity, but I find myself at a lost of what
to do if Scroll Submissions are not received. I can't have an empty
newsletter, can I?

So unless you are willing to give complete literary control to HL
Valerius and his Arab friend, Horoun – please see that your report is
sent to me at once.

I am also still looking for AAA memories!

On another note, I believe I come closer in discovering the key to the
barbarity of Trimaris. My newest theory lies in their diet. When you
come to rely so heavily on the bounty of the sea, you must become
creative in your efforts for variety. It is truly amazing the objects
they pull out of the water and expect someone of gentle birth, such as
myself, to eat. Apparently the concept of fire is too hard to
comprehend for the barbarians, as well. The eating of raw fish is a
delicacy here as well. Although succulent and the art and preparation
of it unique, I can't help but feel that omitting the actual act of
cooking your food to be the ultimate in indolence.

I will continue my efforts to learn all I can about these people so
that upon my return I can speak to others about the customs of this
wayward kingdom.

Ever in Service,

Lady Sabine le Curter
Elfsea Chronicler and Hospitaler
