Homeguard Barbecue Friday or Saturday night, Bear Pit Sunday - sounds like fun...

Sure, I'll even propose some structure for the rapier tourney:

    1) Entry fee is a prize. Doesn't have to be anything expensive, just some token to through in the pot.

    2) Leave the field and return to the line if you win three in a row.

    3) Personally, I think retaining wounds is really cool...

    4) Set a time limit, winner has the most victories within that time.

I'll probably bring some extra prizes for my own secret categories. J

Are you staying home for Gulfwars? Are you looking for any reason or excuse to get out your armor any way?

How about a bear pit tourney in Veterans Park on the 20th? I am fairly sure there should be enough Rapier and Chivalric fighters around to scrap together an after noon of fun and fighting.

So who wants to come join in the fun??
