[Elfsea] storms and moot

I got off work in Fort Worth at 4:45 and it was clear and sunny
overhead, but with a huge bank of white clouds in the east over Dallas.
It was fascinating to look at the backside of the storms I had been
watching on radar an hour earlier as they went over Fort Worth.

I live in south Arlington near The Parks Mall, and all I found when I
got home was standing water and no damage in the immediate neighborhood.

All I can say is I'm glad Mother Nature missed by a week.  This is
usually the kind of storm that rolls through right in the middle of
Mayfest...

It was a little scary here on the 3rd floor. I'm on the upper west side,
so there really wasn't any warning before it hit. I think south
Arlington really got the brunt, though.

I'm glad every body is o.k. I saw all the news and weather at 5:00 and
went into protective Baroness mode. We had a big populace meeting and so
many things got taken care of. I hope to see you all  at the Tor this
weekend.

hail at both places.
