Which language? And time period? 
Shakespeare English, Chaucer English and Early
Welsh probably easier to find than Old Norse or
Archaic French (which Heralds use). Early German
is close to Yiddish or the German that is still
in use around the Hill country. 
For syntax in English, there are many scroll
texts and other similar material that is used
today by SCA scribes to re-create a semblance of
authenticity.
